Easyling release notes March, 2024

March is the time to spring into action. For us, that meant adding fixes and smaller improvements. The main highlights are compatibility improvements to the JavaScript translation engine as well as wording and UI improvements on the Dashboard.

Translator engine

We’re constantly improving the translator engine. This month, we fixed a compatibility edge-case that ensures the system can now handle iframes that update their content after the initial site had loaded. This situation doesn’t usually come up, but previously, it had required an additional workaround. An additional improvement we added was to better handle blocks of content where the element is changed dynamically in conjunction with the Pattern matching feature.

Smaller fixes

The two smaller fixes this month were:

• We re-arranged the Publish wizard a bit to ensure it is always clear, and the most important information is always visible, no matter the size of your screen.
• We fixed an error that happened when round-robin snapshot creation is set up via recurring crawls, but snapshots are disabled.
